October 15 20152015-10-15August 03 20142014-08-03A photograph of a man in an orange-red turban with gold floral embroidery and a gold necklace, wearing a rudraksha bracelet and red-orange cloth, lifting his right hand to touch the forehead of a younger man in a white kurta with an orange-red shawl bearing printed text. Behind them are gold-coloured ritual objects, a silver-banded staff, and maroon and gold drapes. The older man appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on the orange-red turban, ornate gold jewellery and rudraksha adornments, and he is shown giving blessing to a devotee.2014-08-03October 15 20152015-10-15May 01 20142014-05-01May 13 20142014-05-13September 14 20152015-09-14October 15 20152015-10-15August 01 20142014-08-01A photograph of a ritual initiation. A seated figure on the left wears a red-orange turban, a saffron-orange draped robe with gold edging, and a rudraksha mala around the neck, and extends a hand toward the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt with a red-orange shawl. The kneeling man has his palm raised and eyes lowered. Behind them, several people in white clothes with red-orange shawls stand or sit, one holding a piece of paper. A blurred poster-like backdrop and a small framed image appear in the background. The setting appears to be an indoor hall during a mandala-style initiation.2015-07-13A seated figure in a rust-orange turban and a saffron-and-gold wrap, with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace of gold and brown beads, places the palm of his right hand on the forehead of a standing man in a white kurta with a saffron scarf printed with script, whose hands are folded in namaskar and whose eyes are closed. A woman in a sari stands smiling at the right edge. Behind them is a deep red cloth backdrop and an ornate gold throne-like seat. Appearance cues include the turban, saffron clothing and beaded necklace, consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) giving blessing to a devotee in a blessing or darshan moment.2015-10-25October 14 20152015-10-14
