December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31December 31 20152015-12-31Outdoor evening scene at a temple-like setting. A seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne raises his right palm in greeting; he wears a brown-red dhoti-style wrap, a leopard-print headwrap, heavy gold necklaces, and gold armlets and bangles. Before him, an elderly white-bearded man in orange robes bows with palms joined. To the left, a bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair, sacred ash on his forehead and beaded malas stands near a woman in a dark red sari with flowers in her hair. A golden kalasha-style lamp stand appears at right. The wall behind shows carved stone and signage.2017-08-21A smiling man with swept-back long dark hair and a white-and-red tilak on his forehead sits on an ornate red throne with gold carved armrests and a gold lion-head finial. He wears a saffron-orange unstitched robe draped over one shoulder, a gold-beaded necklace, and a gold waist cloth. A peacock-feather fan rests at the left. In front of him, a man in a white shirt with an orange shawl leans in toward him. Red drapes and a gold cobra-shaped ornament form the background. Swamiji (probable) is seated, with long swept-back hair, saffron robes and ceremonial gold necklace, receiving a devotee.2014-07-25A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange robe with long, swept-up dark hair, white tilak on his forehead, rudraksha mala and gold ornaments on his arms, smiling as he extends his hand toward a bowed devotee. The devotee in an orange shawl bends forward with grey hair and a yellow tilak, touching the gold ornamental head of a lion-shaped throne armrest. Behind them a standing attendant in orange wrap with a red bindi and gold necklace watches. Dark red velvet drapes and a gilded throne frame the scene.2016-01-25December 31 20152015-12-31A photograph of a seated man in a rust-orange robe and a matching shawl, wearing a multi-strand necklace of gold beads and a red tilak on his forehead, smiling as he holds food from a small silver bowl on a white-draped table. In front of a gold-and-red ornate throne with a carved lion-motif backrest, a monk in an orange-and-saffron robe with an orange head cloth bends forward toward him, while a blurred monastic figure with a shaved head stands behind and a hand from the right holds a small bowl. Gold and red seating is visible in the background. The seated figure has a long, swept-back hairstyle and ceremonial gold necklace, matching the appearance cues on the page, but the appearance is not clearly established here. Four or more people are partly visible.2014-01-22A photograph of a ceremonial stage scene. A seated man in a rust-red turban, rust-red robe and layered gold necklaces sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, smiling, hands folded. A standing man in an orange kurta and orange dhoti leans forward and touches the seated man's shoulder, while a bald attendant in a dark red cloth kneels at left. Behind them are two deity murti with gold crowns and ornaments, a tall ceremonial trident (trishul) at right, and a painted backdrop of a sunset, palm tree and temple tower. The seated man appears to be a candidate for a person, based on the rust-red turban and robe, layered gold necklaces and ornate throne, with the cues comparing as a compatible presentation; uncertain appearance recorded in the a person field.2015-10-22 +1 copiesOctober 10 20172017-10-10 +1 copiesA seated figure on a plush maroon throne before a deep red velvet curtain smiles toward a bald man in white who bows low, placing his head near the seated person's hands. On the right, a standing man with greying hair wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a rudraksha mala.
