The saffron-clad person rests one hand on the older man's shoulder while seated beside a laptop and a water bottle. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a red bindi and another woman in a white sari watch closely, and several people sit in the blurred background under bright overhead lights.2010-02-04April 28 20142014-04-28January 12 20132013-01-12June 25 20132013-06-25A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron garment with a white and purple flower garland and rudraksha-style bead bracelets, reaching out to bless a grey-haired man in a white shirt who bows his head. Behind them a woman in white with a tilak mark smiles, and a golden horse figure and brass lamps with lit flames stand in a temple-like hall. Several women in white and red-bordered clothes stand in the background with hands folded. The seated figure has long dark hair and distinctive saffron robes and beads, a person cue, but the face is not used for identification; the appearance cues are uncertain. Scene shows an abhishekam-style blessing or darshan with devotees.2016-02-21 +1 copiesJune 22 20122012-06-22 +1 copiesAugust 01 20142014-08-01A smiling man in an orange-red saffron shawl with gold-coloured braided edging and a long gold bead necklace stands facing right, his long dark hair swept back, bare-chested beneath the shawl. He places his hands on the head of an elderly man with white hair and a white beard, dressed in a white shirt, who bends forward with his hands together in reverence. Behind them, men in white dhotis and shirts stand near a white tray of offerings, and a golden deity murti or decorated altar with yellow flowers and lit lamps is visible in the background, beneath hanging orange and yellow banners. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with a projection screen on the wall. The saffron-clad man is a probable Swamiji by visible cues: flowing swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace, placed in the role of giving blessing to a devotee.2010-12-28A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red and gold dhoti-style garment with a long rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, his face marked with white vibhuti on the forehead, extending his right hand to bless the bowed head of an older man in a white short-sleeved shirt who holds his palms together in reverence. Behind them stand gold pillars, red and purple draped fabric and a red floral arrangement; a woman with a white-marked forehead watches at lower right and another man with folded hands stands at upper right. The bowing man receives the blessing with his head lowered. Four people are visible.2013-09-28
