In the foreground a woman in an orange-red sari holds a sparkling firework, sending a fountain of bright sparks and smoke upward. Behind her, a row of people in white and yellow clothing stand holding lit sparklers, with a bright floodlight and dark trees in the background. A white-clad figure stands near a low white platform on the right, and another person in white is at the far right edge holding a small sparkler. Scattered sparks and debris lie on the ground.

Night photograph of a group of people standing in a line on dry, grassy ground, lit by bright, smoky yellow-green light from fireworks or sparklers. Several women in saris, one in white with a sari draped over her head and shoulders, others in red, green and orange, and men or people in orange robes stand at the edge of the light. The two figures on the right wear saffron-orange garments and hold lit sparklers. Trees and a dark building sit in the background.

The scene is lit mainly by the sparks, with a wooden bench and dark building at the edges.

A night photograph of a Deepavali fireworks celebration on an open ground covered in spent cracker debris. Smoke drifts through the frame as sparklers and firecrackers burst in the centre. A man in a grey shirt stands in the foreground at left, and a bright floodlight and low building appear at the back. No identifiable a person appearance is visible in the scene.

Night photograph of a celebration outdoors on bare dirt ground with patches of grass. Fountain-like fireworks throw bright sparks and smoke upward on both sides of the frame. Several people in white clothing move through the smoke, including a figure in the center wearing white robes with a reddish cloth, and others standing at the right. At far right a person's arm in white sleeve reaches toward the scene, and a decorated umbrella or parasol with a colourful top is held above a group. The smoke and sparks obscure detailed faces.
