A night procession seen from behind a crowd, with red flags held aloft on poles against a dark sky. Several black umbrellas are raised above the marchers, and bright white stage or street lights glow at the right edge, with a puff of smoke rising near the flags. Many dark silhouetted figures fill the lower and middle frame, moving along a paved road. The scene is heavily shadowed, so individual clothing and faces are not discernible.
