September 09 20152015-09-09A puja altar arranged in front of a large printed portrait of a smiling bearded man in a rust-red turban and reddish-orange robe with gold chain necklaces and bangles, his right hand raised in blessing. The portrait is labelled in print, so this is a depiction, not a person in the room. Below it sit a small golden murti dressed in red and gold garments, a gilded throne-like shrine with flowers, a fringed garland of yellow and magenta flowers draped across the portrait, brass lamp with a flame, steel bowls with food, a plate of sliced cucumber and lemon, an om symbol, and a pink and gold silk cloth covering the table. Background banners show a multi-headed deity figure and a banyan-tree scene. No physical people are visible.2021-03-24KAILASA DHUMBARAI, NEPAL on 6/30/20212021-06-30KAILASA DHUMBARAI, NEPAL on 4/26/20212021-04-26KAILASA DHUMBARAI, NEPAL on 6/27/20212021-06-27A home temple altar draped in orange cloth holds a large printed photograph of a smiling bearded man in a maroon turban and saffron-red robe, with a yellow and pink flower garland and rudraksha malas draped over it.
