December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04A smiling man in a maroon turban and maroon robe with gold borders walks through a glass doorway into a marble-floored hall, wearing a thick white and red flower garland and a multi-strand gold chain, palms pressed together in greeting. Around him, people in white traditional dress and saffron-toned clothing stand on both sides, clapping and folding hands in welcome; a woman in red and white with a black handbag is at left, and men in shirts and trousers stand at right. A red and orange umbrella is visible behind him. Swamiji (probable): the man is shown being received with garlands and applause, and his maroon turban, robe and gold chain are the cues for that label. Some people in the background are partly visible.2015-06-30 +3 copiesDecember 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04February 07 20082008-02-07October 17 20102010-10-17A photograph of a procession climbing stone steps outdoors under a clear sky, with a white metal railing and a wall with a painted mural at right. At right, a barefoot man with long swept-back dark hair and a dark beaded necklace wears a loose orange saffron wrap and walks upward. Beside and behind him, several shaved-headed men in orange and white ritual clothing wear gold-bead necklaces and gold-trimmed white dhotis; one in orange holds a long red pole, and one in orange carries a small orange cloth. A man in a red shirt with white dhoti walks among them, and a youth in white with a gold necklace stands at center. Swamiji (probable) is the barefoot figure at right, identified by long swept-back hair, orange saffron wrap, and dark beaded necklace, in a procession role.2011-05-24January 29 20102010-01-29A photograph of a man in a flowing saffron-orange robe walking along a brick garden path lined with green hedges and tall trees, under a tall lamp post against an overcast sky. He wears a long rudraksha mala around his neck, a small red forehead mark, and orange sandals, with long dark hair swept back. A second man beside him wears white kurta and dhoti with an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala, and a third person in white walks behind, along with another figure in orange. The leading man lifts one hand as he looks upward. Swamiji (probable) is the leading figure in saffron robes with long hair, rudraksha mala and forehead mark, walking at the front of a small group of four people.2008-06-09Outdoor procession on a dirt road under bright hazy sky. A figure with long dark hair, a white flower garland, a multi-strand rudraksha and gold necklace and orange robes walks centrally, palms raised in greeting; this appearance-based candidate is Swamiji (probable). Beside him, a man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala carries a gold trident, and another in orange holds a gold staff. Behind, men in white dhotis and orange shawls walk under red and orange ceremonial umbrellas with tasselled edges, and orange flags fly. A small boy in a white shirt walks at left, and a man in orange with a garland walks at far right. Spectators line the background.2008-12-28Outdoor procession scene under a row of orange flags bearing a dark emblem and a ceremonial umbrella with red, blue and yellow panels decorated with gold motifs, fringed with tassels.
