A man in orange robes with long hair and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a red-cushioned golden throne, eyes closed, his bare feet extended toward a golden tray. Kneeling before him, devotees in white dhotis with gold necklaces and white shawls attend the feet; a man in white with a mala holds his hands clasped, and a woman in white sits nearby. Silver plates with flowers, fruit, and pink petals sit on the golden tray. Behind the throne stand a golden swan-shaped seat, a trident-topped staff, orange cloth, and a garlanded deity murti. Other people in orange and white sit at the edges, one with a microphone, and women in the foreground, including one with a braid, are partly visible. The setting is a hall with patterned carpet.2015-12-18September 11 20152015-09-11A photograph of a ceremonial puja on a stage with a large golden throne backdrop and deep red curtains. A seated man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron shawl, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, sits on a red-and-gold patterned cushion, taking flowers from a silver bowl. Beside him a man in white dhoti and white shirt with a red-and-gold cloth leans in to pour or offer petals, and a boy in red shirt and white dhoti stands close by. Devotees in saffron and orange robes sit in rows along a blue cloth, with brass cups, water bottles and scattered yellow marigold petals in front of them.
