A seated robed figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne during a puja. He wears a rust-coloured dhoti and shawl, a long garland of yellow flowers, a gold-coloured shawl over the shoulders, and a red tilak on the forehead. He holds a small lamp or incense stick over a large silver bowl filled with flower petals. A woman in a white outfit with a red border kneels at lower left, and another woman in white with a red sash stands at right. A silver trident stands behind the throne beside bamboo screens. Yellow flower heaps and a green cloth cover the altar, and a few seated devotees are visible at the bottom edge.2016-03-30September 20 20152015-09-20July 19 20162016-07-19A photograph of a food-serving scene at an indoor event. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne chair wears a saffron-orange wrap, a red-and-orange shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style mala; he reaches toward a large silver bowl of yellow rice and scoops food with his right hand. A woman in an orange sari with a dark blue border leans over a white-clothed table, reaching for the food on a banana leaf. Behind them, a woman in a cream sari with red border stands beside a second man in white dhoti and red shawl working at steel pots, and a woman in white with a beaded necklace stands at the right. Several people appear in the background. Steel bowls and pots sit on the table with scattered rice.2015-12-20 +2 copiesOctober 08 20102010-10-08March 30 20162016-03-30June 26 20172017-06-26July 21 20152015-07-21March 30 20132013-03-30A photograph of a seated man in a gold ornate throne with carved gilt elephants and floral motifs behind him. He wears a red-orange shawl over his shoulders, a long rudraksha mala with a gold pendant, a white tripundra with a red bindi, and long dark hair, eyes closed and palms open. A young priest with bare upper body in a red-and-white checked cloth bends toward a large bronze bowl of yellow rice or offering, taking up a handful. The scene reads as a ritual offering. The seated man shows appearance cues consistent with the page's a person reference, so he is labelled as a probable candidate: a person, seated on the throne receiving the offering. The priest assists with the offering bowl.2017-07-03December 20 20152015-12-20 +1 copiesMarch 30 20162016-03-30
