A woman in a white blouse and white dhoti with purple-and-gold border bends forward, offering a golden kalasha-like vessel with a red tilak-marked top set on a brass plate. A man in an orange robe and beaded necklace stands behind her. On the right, a smiling figure with long dark hair, white forehead markings, a heavy gold necklace and rudraksha-style beads wears a bright orange robe and sandals, with his bare arm visible; the appearance is consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) in a sannyasi role, receiving the offering. A man in white kurta with a pendant stands behind, and other white-clad devotees are in the background.2008-12-23June 22 20142014-06-22 +1 copiesOutdoor evening gathering under a large tree with lamps hanging from its branches. A man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala raises his arm at right, and a metal kalasha-style vessel is carried near the centre. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears a red-orange sari-style drape, a gold pendant, a beaded mala and a red-orange bangle, walking barefoot with his hand near his waist. Immediately behind him, a bald young man in an orange-saffron dhoti and orange shawl carries a silver vessel with a green leaf sprig on a tray of purple flowers. Other white-clad devotees, some barefoot and holding a canopy pole, follow, while onlookers in white, cream and green stand along the sides with palms pressed together in greeting. The scene suggests a pada-puja style procession.2011-12-12December 23 20162016-12-23
