Dozens of devotees sit on the ground and on white plastic chairs facing a raised white platform, many in saffron and orange robes, others in white clothes. On the platform, several priests in orange and white garments sit before a gold-framed altar decorated with flower garlands and a deity murti draped in a green cloth. Standing figures in white dhotis stand behind them, and a small fire with smoke rises near the platform. Red and white pillars and hanging decorations frame the scene. A pen-holding attendee in a white top sits near the front left.2014-10-27Night-time outdoor ceremony under a corrugated metal roof with bright floodlights. On the right, a seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, a red-orange robe, a pink-and-white flower garland and gold armbands sits on an ornate gold throne, appearing as a presiding guru; he is not clearly identified, so this is an uncertain candidate. In front, rows of devotees in white dhotis and kurtas with red-orange shawls stand with hands folded in anjali on green leaf plates arranged on the floor. A woman at left wears a red turban-style head covering, white sari with red border, and a white flower garland. Behind them, a decorated deity murti or shrine with a golden canopy, red and green drapes, and a red banner are visible, with saffron-robed attendants further back.2016-03-06November 04 20132013-11-04A nighttime outdoor ritual at an ashram. Seated devotees in white and orange-saffron clothes with red shawls fill the foreground, facing a raised platform. On the platform, a priest in orange robes sits before a lit fire pit with offerings, while other attendants in white dhotis stand at the left. Behind them stands a golden canopy shrine decorated with flower garlands and a deity murti, with a tall kalasha-like ornament and lamps nearby. The scene is lit by warm lamps and overhead lights.2014-10-27Night-time outdoor ritual on a paved courtyard under a tin roof with banana plants and string lights. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with a red shawl and a flower garland sits on an ornate gold throne under a fringed umbrella, with a red-cushioned seat and offerings on a low platform. Several saffron-robed attendants stand near, one holding a drum. Devotees in white dhotis and red-bordered shawls stand in a row on green leaf mats with palms pressed together in namaskar, some children among them. A red vehicle is parked in the background.2016-03-06 +1 copiesDecember 26 20082008-12-26December 30 20062006-12-30July 29 20122012-07-29 +1 copies
