He wears a magenta and purple turban, a red and gold shawl, a white and gold dhoti, and layered rudraksha malas with gold beads. Behind him, blurred figures in orange turbans and saffron clothing stand in a temple setting.2018-04-14July 03 20162016-07-03December 05 20162016-12-05A person in a red turban and red-saffron garment, wearing red flower garlands, a brown rope-like shawl, gold necklaces and gold armbands, performs an aarti or fire ritual, lifting a flaming oil lamp on a metal plate while holding a spoon-like ladle to the mouth. Behind, several men in white dhotis and bare or sacred-thread-marked torsos stand close, some with vibhuti or tilak marks; one in glasses and a white dhoti holds a brass vessel near the lamp. Palm trees and dusk light set the outdoor scene. The figure in red is distinguished by a red turban, garlanded ornate attire and golden jewellery, so this is a person candidate performing the ritual.2014-12-05May 25 20172017-05-25A man in a red-orange turban and matching draped cloth performs an evening ritual beside a fire. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace, rudraksha-style beads on the upper arm, gold earrings and a red tilak on his forehead, while holding a small brass oil lamp with a lit wick in one hand and a metal vessel in the other. Bright flames rise from a brass bowl in the foreground, consistent with a homa or puja fire, and a partly visible figure in orange sits at the left edge against a dark background. The man appears to be a priest performing the rite rather than a depicted or distinctively identified figure.2014-01-05February 02 20162016-02-02October 29 20162016-10-29October 15 20172017-10-15
