December 20 20132013-12-20February 19 20162016-02-19A man in a red-orange turban and matching draped cloth performs an evening ritual beside a fire. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace, rudraksha-style beads on the upper arm, gold earrings and a red tilak on his forehead, while holding a small brass oil lamp with a lit wick in one hand and a metal vessel in the other. Bright flames rise from a brass bowl in the foreground, consistent with a homa or puja fire, and a partly visible figure in orange sits at the left edge against a dark background. The man appears to be a priest performing the rite rather than a depicted or distinctively identified figure.2014-01-05February 19 20162016-02-19March 26 20132013-03-26October 29 20162016-10-29A bare-chested young man in an orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulder and across his torso holds a brass multi-branched aarti lamp with several flames in his raised left hand, while his right hand holds a small brass bell. He wears long dark hair swept back, white horizontal tilak marks on his forehead, a long rudraksha mala and a pendant on a thin neck cord, and a gold bracelet on his wrist. He gazes upward in an indoor hall with blurred walls and ceiling lights. Appearance cues are ambiguous, so the identity is not established from the image.2017-07-21September 06 20142014-09-06 +1 copiesA close photograph of a bare-chested man in the foreground holding up a silver lamp with a large open flame, as an aarti-style offering.
