February 06 20172017-02-06 +1 copiesPhotograph of an elderly bearded man seated in profile, looking upward to the left, with long grey hair knotted on top of his head and a red-and-white tilak mark on his forehead. He wears a loose saffron-orange cloth draped over his shoulders and is bare-chested beneath it. Multiple rudraksha beads hang on a long necklace across his chest, with red threads and a silver pendant beside them. Gold bangles are visible on his wrist as his hands rest folded in his lap. The plain cream wall behind him and a white plastic chair edge are visible.2012-05-08A seated bearded sadhu with a topknot of matted hair and a red bindi with white vibhuti on his forehead sits on a pale yellow plastic chair. He wears an orange saffron shawl draped over bare shoulders and chest, a rudraksha mala across his chest, and gold bangles on one wrist, with hands clasped in his lap. He looks off to the side in a room with a plain wall and a tiled floor.2012-05-08 +1 copiesJune 04 20062006-06-04 +1 copiesA man with long, dark, swept-back hair sits on the red-and-white steps of a temple entrance, holding a silver trident (trishul) upright in his right hand. He wears a flowing saffron-orange robe that drapes over his shoulder and body, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and a red tilak mark on his forehead. He appears to be speaking or singing with his mouth open. Behind him, red-framed wooden doors open into a shrine where a framed deity image hangs above a small altar with a yellow stool and brass lamps. A small red-framed niche on the left wall holds a white statue, and a bell hangs from the ceiling. The walls are pale blue-white with a turquoise painted ceiling and a speckled red pillar. A small blue-and-white logo appears at the upper left.2006-06-04A seated man with eyes closed and a faint smile sits cross-legged in front of a white wall. He wears an orange-saffron kurta and dhoti with a red shawl bordered in gold zari, and a rudraksha mala with orange beads hangs on his chest. A white jasmine-type flower garland is wound into his topknot, and he has horizontal white tilak marks with a red dot on his forehead. His hands rest together in his lap holding a small object. In front of him is a folded blue-and-white checked cloth and a metal vessel, with a red cloth at his side. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and a ceremonial flower adornment, seated as a central figure.2011-05-24A seated man in an orange saffron robe and orange turban speaks to an audience. He has long white hair, a flowing white beard, white horizontal tilak marks and a red bindi on his forehead. He wears layered rudraksha and pale crystal malas and holds a pair of sunglasses in one hand while his other hand rests on his chest. Behind him a man in a white shirt and gold chain watches attentively, and a woman in the background wears gold earrings. The setting appears to be an indoor satsang. The man in orange shows the cues of a probable Swamiji (saffron robe, orange turban, long hair, rudraksha and crystal malas), so he is identified here as Swamiji (probable) seated and teaching.2012-05-08June 04 20062006-06-04February 16 20132013-02-16 +1 copiesA man with long dark hair sits cross-legged on a woven mat in meditation, eyes closed and hands resting in his lap. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange cloth draped over one shoulder and a long necklace of dark rudraksha beads, with a red dot on his forehead. Behind him stands a red-orange temple structure with garlands of yellow and purple flowers hanging from its top.2010-09-05February 16 20132013-02-16 +1 copiesAn elderly bearded man in orange saffron robes and an orange head wrap sits in a white plastic chair, hands clasped in his lap, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, a white horizontal tilak on his forehead with a red dot, and layered rudraksha and crystal bead malas. Behind him a woman in a red and gold sari and a man in white shirt are partly visible. The man's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a saffron-clad satsang teacher, though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2012-05-08 +1 copies
