He wears a loose saffron-orange cloth draped over his shoulders and is bare-chested beneath it. Multiple rudraksha beads hang on a long necklace across his chest, with red threads and a silver pendant beside them. Gold bangles are visible on his wrist as his hands rest folded in his lap. The plain cream wall behind him and a white plastic chair edge are visible.2012-05-08A photograph of a meal setting. A long-haired man in saffron/orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits at a red-cushioned chair at a table draped with an orange cloth, eating from a terracotta bowl with his hand. A red tilak mark is on his forehead. Beside him, a woman in white sits at a red table with a metal bowl. Behind, a person in orange holds another's hair, and a man in white with a dhoti holds a terracotta plate at right. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a rudraksha mala.2010-08-30May 07 20162016-05-07A photograph of an elderly man with long white hair and a long white beard, wearing an orange saffron robe and a red thread on his wrist, seated at a table eating from a silver plate with a spoon. A small red tilak mark is on his forehead. A plastic water bottle sits at the left edge, and a flower garland hangs behind him. Another man in orange clothing is partly visible at the upper right. The setting appears to be a ritual meal or annadan at a Kumbh camp.2015-09-11 +1 copiesA seated group of saffron-robed sadhus eats a communal meal on a striped mat at an outdoor camp. In the foreground, a sadhu with a tilted orange-and-pink head cloth, sandalwood forehead mark and beaded rudraksha-style malas holds food to his mouth. Beside him, a bearded sadhu in orange robes and a shawl eats from a leaf plate. Others in peach and orange clothing sit behind, with plastic water bottles set on the mat and steel and leaf plates of food in front of them.2015-09-17 +1 copiesA photo of an elderly bearded man with long swept-back grey hair and a white tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange garment with gold and green borders, seated at a table and bringing food to his mouth with his right hand. A clear plastic water bottle with a blue label and a glass of water sit on a pink-patterned tablecloth in the foreground, with a steel plate and a folded white napkin nearby. A person in white clothing stands at the right edge, and stacked chairs and a metal truss structure appear in the dim hall behind. The man has distinctive long grey hair and orange saffron-style clothing, but his appearance alone is not enough to confirm identity, so he is described only by role as a seated devotee at a meal.2006-12-31A row of sadhus seated cross-legged on a concrete floor for a meal, wearing orange dhotis and bare-chested, with white and red tilak marks on their foreheads. Several have long white beards and matted white hair; one wears round glasses and holds a steel tumbler. Plates with rice and food sit before them, and a man in white at the left leans over a metal bucket serving food. Behind them are blue and yellow walls. Rudraksha malas and red threads are visible on some men. The men are seated and eating together.2006-09-23December 30 20092009-12-30
