A shaved-headed young boy sits cross-legged in a saffron-orange robe with a maroon-red border, wearing a rudraksha mala with a small gold pendant. White ash stripes mark his forehead and arms, with a red bindi between the brows. He holds a brass or gold ritual implement in his hands, and a silver cup, a small oil lamp and a conch shell sit on a brass tray before him. Two other people in maroon or red robes are blurred at the left edge. The scene suggests a sannyasi-style ritual setting with brass puja items.2013-04-10April 10 20132013-04-10April 10 20132013-04-10Close portrait of a young boy with short dark hair and a red vertical tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange saffron shawl draped over one shoulder and tied at the waist, with a red thread sash crossing his chest.
