A central man in a rust-orange dhoti-style wrap and shawl wears a heavy gold necklace of large beads with a gold pendant, gold earrings, a red tilak and a swept-back hairstyle; he is smiling and extending his hand toward two young boys in saffron-orange robes. Other people include a man in a white shirt at left, a shaved-headed priest with white forehead markings and orange-brown garments at right, and onlookers in the background. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange shawl over the shoulder, ornate gold-toned necklaces, and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, and extends his hand to greet a smiling man in white dhoti and shawl with a white-and-red forehead mark. Around them, devotees in casual clothes, a boy in a yellow shirt, and a young man in a black top stand close, and a silver tray with garlands is visible at the right edge. Behind them, more people in white ritual clothing and a red-and-white pillar complete the setting. Appearance-based cues on the central figure are distinctive, so he is a probable candidate for a person shown in person.2010-12-28Photograph of a satsang-style gathering. On the right, a smiling person with long dark swept-back hair, a red bindi and white forehead markings, wearing ornate gold and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, orange clothing and beaded bracelets, reaches to clasp the hand of a devotee at left, who wears a light grey patterned shirt and has white forehead markings.
