Four or five young men stand in a row at the right holding lit oil lamps (aarti lamps), bare-chested with orange dhotis, red-orange garlands and beaded rudraksha necklaces. Seated and standing devotees in orange and red garments fill the room, and women in orange saris sit at a low altar table on the left. A golden throne with a pink-clad seated figure stands at the left wall, with curtains, wall panels and ceiling lights above. No one on the throne is clearly identifiable as a person, so the candidate is unsure.2016-10-12March 24 20132013-03-24A seated group of devotees performs a ritual with oil lamps during a satsang-style gathering in a hall with a red curtain. Many women wear rudraksha malas, and most have white or red-striped forehead markings. Foreground, a woman in a red shawl with a rudraksha mala holds a small brass bell, and a woman in a deep red sari holds a brass plate, lit oil lamp and a folded cloth. Nearby, a woman in white holds a lit lamp, and a man in a rust-coloured garment sits cross-legged with a lamp and mala. Brass plates with lamps, flowers and incense sit on the floor. Many more people in orange, rust and white sit behind them. No deity image or a person is clearly visible.2014-10-12A large indoor hall where rows of young men in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged on white floor mats before brass ritual trays holding small oil lamps, bowls, bells and flowers. Several seated ascetics wear rudraksha malas and white-painted forehead and arm markings, and one at the front right holds a folded-hand pose beside a tray with a lamp. Behind them, devotees in white dhotis and shirts sit on the floor and chairs, and a few people stand near the back of the room. The scene looks like a group puja or ritual gathering.2013-04-06A group of saffron-clad devotees sit on a floor mat in a ritual setting lined with rows of oil lamps and a metal railing. In the foreground, a man in orange robes with rudraksha beads and gold wristbands gestures with one raised hand while chanting. Beside him, a younger man in orange with a rudraksha mala holds a small brass bell and ritual object. Brass plates, small bowls and a open notebook sit on the orange cloth. Behind them, men and women in white dhotis and saris with red-and-white borders sing and hold their hands in ritual gestures. A microphone and camera tripod appear at the left edge.2010-11-07A ceremonial aarti scene in a covered open-sided hall decorated with hanging leaf garlands. Several men in saffron-orange robes stand at a long steel-topped table holding up tiered brass lamps with lit flames. Behind them, a seated row of men in orange and white robes and rudraksha malas watch. On the floor in front, women in white saris sit in rows tending many small brass oil lamps (oil lamps) and kalasha-style brass vessels. A man in an orange shirt photographs the ritual at the lower right. Lamps and a brass pillar appear at the right edge.2008-12-30July 30 20132013-07-30Indoor puja in a large hall with red-tinted lighting and a dropped ceiling.
