A procession walks along a dirt path shaded by a mango tree. In the centre, a man in orange ochre robes wears a long multicolour flower garland, a rudraksha mala and a red forehead mark, and walks barefoot. Beside him, a bald man in orange garments and rudraksha beads walks, and a bald man in white dhoti with a white upper cloth carries a brass kalasha-like vessel on a tray. Behind them, several monks in orange and white robes follow, some with rudraksha malas. An older man in a white shirt and white dhoti walks at the right edge. Brick rubble and green foliage surround the path, with a fence and bushes behind.2011-09-26September 13 20132013-09-13April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesJuly 22 20132013-07-22A seated man in a rust-red sannyasi wrap and a white flower garland blesses a young boy in a white-and-red checked shirt holding a yellow banana. The blessing man sits on a red cushioned seat with a tilak on his forehead and gold bangles and earring. Behind them a woman in white with orange shawl and a second woman in orange sari stand near a row of decorated deity murti in green, red and gold garments. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall with a red curtain and a fan at right.2014-06-06A seated man in a rust-orange turban, bare-chested with a wide ornate gold-and-orange shawl and a heavy orange-gold beaded necklace, extends his right hand to touch the head of a young man in a light blue shirt who kneels with palms pressed together. Behind them a woman in a cream sari with dark beaded mala stands near a woman in a bright pink sari, and an older woman in a teal head covering and an older man in white kneel close by. A standing attendant in orange holds a long golden staff with a gold-tipped finial, and a gold ornate throne-like structure and red drapes fill the background.2015-10-26A bare-chested young boy with long dark hair, white sacred ash and a red vertical mark on his forehead raises a bundle of green palm fronds above a woman in a white saree with a gold border, who has her back to the camera and is holding a brass bowl. Behind them, several people in saffron and orange robes and rudraksha malas stand with white ash on their foreheads and chests, one holding a small bowl, with a drummer and orange-cloth decorations in the background. The scene looks like a welcoming or blessing ritual at an outdoor ashram event.2015-05-13A seated figure in orange and rust robes with a white flower garland and gold armlets sits on a red and leopard-print cushioned seat, pouring from a terracotta pot into a metal dish held by a kneeling elderly man in white clothing with a brown beaded necklace. Behind them, women in orange and rust saffron robes with rudraksha malas hold a tray of white offerings, and a decorated gold-and-floral deity murti stands on a red carpeted floor beside a blue patterned backdrop with a fan. This appears to be a padapuja-style ritual. The seated figure has long swept-back hair and saffron-orange clothing with ceremonial gold ornaments, a cue combination consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so the appearance-based label applies.2014-08-17A photograph of a shaved-to-dreadlocked ascetic in rust-orange robes seated beside a silver ceremonial stand, placing his right hand on the forehead of a man in a pale yellow kurta who kneels with hands raised. The seated figure wears a crescent ornament and a crown of rudraksha beads, with white tripundra markings on his forehead, and a bead garland hangs at his chest. Behind them, a group of women in orange, yellow, red and white saris and kurtas stand in a row wearing rudraksha malas, watching the blessing. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with a dark backdrop, and the scene reads as a blessing or darshan moment. Swamiji (probable): long dreadlocks, crescent crown, rudraksha crown and orange robes, shown giving a forehead blessing.2018-03-31A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead marking and red bindi, rudraksha malas and a gold floral necklace sits beside a golden serpent-shaped ornament and silver ritual staff. He extends his right hand to rest on the forehead of a man in a white shirt with an orange-and-dark patterned shawl, who stands with palms raised in reverence. Red drapes and a peacock-feather fan appear at the edges. The devotee receives the blessing in a darshan setting.2014-07-27August 11 20112011-08-11 +1 copiesNovember 16 20152015-11-16
