June 02 20152015-06-02A photograph of a deity murti seated on a golden throne (peetha) in a temple-style setting. The murti wears a red-orange cloth, a heavy beaded white and red jewelled necklace, and is draped in long garlands of yellow, white and red flowers, with a rudraksha-style beaded chain. A silver kalasha with green mango leaves sits on the murti's head. A person in a red-orange sari with gold border, wearing gold bangles and a beaded bracelet, stands at left, pouring or offering water from a brass vessel over the murti in abhishekam. Ornate gold throne carvings and colourful flower garlands fill the background.2015-06-02April 14 20132013-04-14Close view of a deity murti dressed in a flowing green silk cloth and draped with large garlands of red roses, yellow marigolds, white jasmine and green leaves. The murti wears a tall golden crown, a large gold-and-jewelled chest ornament, and is draped with garlands of white, red, yellow and green flowers. A small framed photograph of a saffron-clad figure stands on the altar, with fruits, a brass oil lamp and a pink flower offering nearby. Golden lamps, a brass kalasha-style vessel and a shiny silver oil lamp frame the scene against a red and gold backdrop. The setting resembles a temple or puja space with abhishekam-style floral decoration.2008-05-12June 02 20152015-06-02 +1 copiesApril 05 20122012-04-05June 02 20152015-06-02 +1 copiesClose view of a white ash-covered shivalinga at the base of a deity murti decorated with heavy gold jewellery, garlands and a golden trident-like staff.
