The figure wears an orange and red headcloth, a heavy gold and beaded necklace, and a red-and-orange draped cloth, and holds ritual objects in its upper hands. Garlands of orange marigolds and red flowers hang over the shoulders, and a long gold bead chain drapes across the arch. The statue is a murti, not a living person, and no people are visible.2015-02-01February 14 20152015-02-14August 12 20142014-08-12September 10 20142014-09-10 +1 copiesA black stone deity murti seated in an ornate silver arch against a teal drape. The four-armed figure wears an orange and gold head cloth, a white and red tilak on the forehead, and a magenta brocade garment with a pink-and-gold border. Its garlands of red roses and yellow marigolds drape the arms, and silver necklaces and a beaded brown-and-gold mala hang at the chest. It holds a drum, a trident-like object and a raised hand, with a bell and a small ritual object in the other hands.2016-06-15
