In the foreground, a man in an orange robe with a red-and-orange shawl sits cross-legged, hands folded in prayer, behind a small offering table holding a brass oil lamp, incense sticks, banana leaves with flowers and fruit, and a brass bell. Rows of devotees sit on woven mats: men in white shirts and white dhotis, several women in saris and salwar, some wearing rudraksha malas.
