A man in a green t-shirt and dark shorts crouches on a tractor trailer, working on a pipe that sprays water in a fine arc across the road. The trailer carries a large corrugated grey water tank labelled Reno. Behind it, a sandy track runs toward half-built concrete multi-storey buildings, rocky hills, palm trees and young saplings along a fence. Two people in white clothing walk on the left edge of the road, and several parked cars sit in the distance.2010-02-12A photograph of workers unloading materials at a dirt construction site. Two men in white shirts and pale lungis stand in the back of a large red flatbed truck, lifting and passing metal trays or pots filled with straw. Beside the truck, a woman in a yellow-green floral sari with a long braid faces away from the camera. Two men on the left, one wearing an orange head wrap and one in a pale head cloth, watch the work. Gravel, earth mounds, a distant excavator and a blue signboard with text are visible in the background.2009-12-17Outdoor construction site on a dirt path beside large black cylindrical water tanks on a red-painted concrete base, with a stack of grey stones and a white shipping container behind. Palm trees and a bougainvillea bush frame the scene. Several men walk along the path: a bare-chested man in white dhoti with sacred thread and beaded necklace carries a long staff; a man in saffron-orange robes with long hair and a beaded mala walks in the centre; another in saffron robes walks further right; a man in white dhoti with a beaded necklace and gold-trimmed cloth walks in the foreground at right. Behind them stand a few onlookers in casual clothes. Whether any of these men is a person cannot be established from appearance alone.2016-11-17 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a dirt path at an ashram-style site. Two large black cylindrical water tanks lie on their sides at left beside a red brick wall and a rubble pile. A white shipping container and palm trees sit behind them, with a flowering bougainvillea tree at right and bamboo scaffolding at the far right. About six people in saffron and orange robes and white dhoti-style clothing stand in a loose group on the path, some with shaved heads, one in a white shawl. Scattered stones and bricks line the foreground.2016-11-17February 06 20172017-02-06 +3 copiesNovember 17 20162016-11-17 +1 copies
