Palm trees and a bougainvillea bush frame the scene. Several men walk along the path: a bare-chested man in white dhoti with sacred thread and beaded necklace carries a long staff; a man in saffron-orange robes with long hair and a beaded mala walks in the centre; another in saffron robes walks further right; a man in white dhoti with a beaded necklace and gold-trimmed cloth walks in the foreground at right. Behind them stand a few onlookers in casual clothes. Whether any of these men is a person cannot be established from appearance alone.2016-11-17 +1 copiesNovember 17 20162016-11-17November 17 20162016-11-17September 19 20062006-09-19September 19 20062006-09-19January 22 20102010-01-22December 19 20062006-12-19An outdoor construction site at dusk under a heavy overcast sky. In the foreground is a large pile of rough grey granite boulders beside a mound of reddish-brown earth. Behind them stands a black cylindrical water tank partly screened by a thatched straw shelter. A dirt track runs through the site toward a low wall, lined with palm trees and shrubs. Distant figures in light and dark clothing stand near a red-and-white striped barrier on the left, and a motorbike is parked there. No ritual activity is visible.2009-10-31December 19 20062006-12-19Outdoor construction site beside a whitewashed building under coconut palms. A woman in saffron-orange robes and a yellow-orange garland walks along a concrete walkway, with a younger figure in orange close behind her. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis follow along the path past an unfinished concrete building with window openings. Scattered bricks, rubble and a green plastic bag lie on the bare ground in the foreground, and a vertical metal pole stands near the right edge.2010-01-22A photograph of an outdoor site under construction with a large pile of cut stone blocks and red earth in the foreground. Several men stand around the pile; on the left a tall man in orange sannyasi-style cloth and a beaded necklace stands near a thatched open-sided pavilion. On the right, a man in orange robes and a rudraksha-style mala looks toward the rubble, and another man in an orange shirt stands nearby. A woman in a red kurta and cream trousers watches from the centre beside a concrete pad, and a few people work or walk in the background among palm trees.2016-09-04
