May 28 20162016-05-28May 28 20162016-05-28A photograph of an outdoor construction site at a KAILASA ashram area. Long white tent structures with open brown wooden doorways and several window air-conditioning units line the left side. In the foreground, large pale grey stone paving slabs are laid in a rough pattern, with scattered wooden planks lying on the flat surface. On the right, a row of similar slabs runs along a bamboo-lined edge, with an orange excavator visible in the distance. Two people walk along the right path, one in a red garment. The sky is hazy.2016-11-18A dusty unpaved lane runs between white canvas tents and makeshift tarpaulin shelters at a temporary camp, with wooden utility poles and overhead wires along the route. Bundled bedding, folded cloth and scattered belongings lie on the sand beside the tents. Two men walk along the central path in the middle distance, one in a white shirt and brown trousers, another in a dark shirt, while a few other people sit or stand near the left-side shelters. The hazy sky and flat sandy ground suggest a large open encampment, with a small red-and-white sign visible far down the lane.2013-02-05May 28 20162016-05-28Long interior tent corridor with yellow-trimmed white fabric walls and a teal-green carpeted floor. Yellow support poles line both sides, and several window air conditioners sit on maroon-draped platforms along the walls. Doors are set into the side walls. A single person stands far down the corridor near the center, possibly carrying something, and a pair of slippers lies near the left wall. Bright ceiling lights run down the middle of the tent.2016-04-20May 28 20162016-05-28May 28 20162016-05-28May 28 20162016-05-28May 10th 20162016-05-10A photograph of a muddy dirt lane between corrugated-metal sheds on the left and a long row of white tent-like structures on the right, with outdoor air-conditioning units and beige plastic chairs placed along the tent wall. Two young men walk away from the camera along the mud path; the one in the foreground wears a red and cream top and jeans, and the one beside him wears a blue checked shirt and dark shorts. Further back, several people in white and saffron clothing walk among the sheds, and a woman in a white cap and a woman in a yellow sari are visible on the left. A tall antenna mast and floodlight stands are visible in the background under a pale sky.2016-05-10A photograph of a dirt construction lane running between white tent structures and corrugated metal sheet fencing under a bright, hazy sky. Churned brown mud shows tyre tracks down the centre. On the left, a white tent wall stands beside wooden scaffolding and a black water tank, with loose planks and coiled cables and pipes on the ground. Several people in plain white and light shirts walk along the lane toward the tents, which have small red flags along their tops. Palm trees and bare trees appear in the background.2016-05-10
