Outdoor procession under a large ornate golden canopy with fringed tassels in red, orange, blue and green, with multicolored umbrellas behind. A smiling man at centre wears a maroon-and-gold turban, a dense garland of red beads and pink-green flowers, a heavy gold ceremonial necklace and a maroon wrap over a rust-red dhoti, and walks barefoot-style in sandals on a blue-edged path. Around him, saffron-robed sadhus with rudraksha malas and matted hair walk, one carrying a tall silver staff; a woman in white with rudraksha beads and a man in white walk nearby, and a golden-handled ceremonial staff is held aloft at right. The presentation is distinctive in ornate ceremonial dress, but no name or caption is visible, so the identity of the central man is uncertain.2018-01-09 +1 copiesPhoto 11702198April 17 20162016-04-17September 13 20152015-09-13A procession on a stone-paved path with a central man in a rust-red turban and rust-red robe, wearing a multi-strand gold necklace with large gold pendant, a white-and-pink flower garland, and a rudraksha mala. He holds a silver trident staff in one hand and raises the other in greeting, smiling. Behind him, several men in saffron-orange dhotis and rudraksha malas, and men in white dhotis with gold borders, walk near ornate silver and pink fringed ceremonial umbrellas. A shirtless man with white sacred markings on his forehead and body checks his phone, and a man in glasses stands at the right edge. Trees and a building appear in the background.2016-12-03May 11 20152015-05-11December 23 20162016-12-23A photograph of a ceremonial outdoor procession or ritual. In the centre, a bearded man wearing an orange-red turban with a gold emblem, a long gold-and-jewelled necklace, a large floral garland and an orange-red dhoti kneels and smiles while a man in white dhoti and shawl holds his hand. A white parasol with scalloped edges is raised above him, and a silver trident is planted nearby. Beside him, a shaven-headed man in saffron cloth wearing a rudraksha mala stands, and women in yellow-gold sarees with gold jewellery and garlands sit at the right. A bare-chested man in white dhoti holds a camera. Behind, a crowd and deity statues are visible, and the ground has a dark patterned mat.2016-12-23February 28 20132013-02-28November 17 20152015-11-17 +1 copiesApril 26 20162016-04-26September 13 20152015-09-13 +2 copies
