Behind him to the left, a younger man in orange robes with a red tilak and a small lapel microphone stands beside him. On the right, an older bearded man in orange robes and wire-rimmed glasses with a red tilak stands in the background. Dark stone wall and small lights in the background suggest an outdoor evening setting.2008-12-11 +1 copiesA photograph taken at night of two men in saffron-orange robes looking upward. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace stands with palms pressed together in namaste, face lifted. Beside him, a second man with short dark hair and a red forehead mark wears an orange shawl and gazes upward. A dark stone wall and a distant small light are behind them, consistent with a Karthikai Deepam lamp-lighting occasion.2008-12-11November 21 20102010-11-21December 11 20092009-12-11 +1 copiesOutdoor photograph of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes standing with palms pressed together in namaste near his chest, eyes lowered, with a red tilak on his forehead and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace of beads and a pendant. Behind him a second man in white clothing and glasses stands under an orange umbrella, and another person in orange stands at the left edge. Blurred stone sculptures and trees fill the background. The scene suggests a devotional or ceremonial moment in a temple courtyard.2010-02-12A man with long swept-back black hair and a red bindi stands outdoors with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered, wearing an orange sleeveless garment with a saffron wrap and ornate gold bead necklace. Behind him to the right a bald man in a white dhoti and shawl with red border and gold necklace holds a silver tray of flowers. Green palm foliage and a golden arch frame the scene. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure in orange with rudraksha-style gold beads and long hair, greeting an assembly.2010-10-10Indoor temple scene with a black Shiva lingam on a round stone yoni base at left. A man in orange robes with a shawl draped over his head and a gold garland stands at center, one hand resting on another man's shoulder. That second man wears orange robes with maroon-edged borders, a white flower garland, and long dark hair, and is bending forward toward the lingam. Another person in orange robes stands at the right edge, partly cropped, and a red curtain hangs behind. Several heads are visible in the lower foreground, and a small purple-and-gold cloth hangs at far left. Appearance does not clearly confirm a candidate for a person, so roles are used.2009-12-16January 08 20102010-01-08 +1 copiesOctober 10 20102010-10-10
