A photograph taken at night of two men in saffron-orange robes looking upward. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace stands with palms pressed together in namaste, face lifted. Beside him, a second man with short dark hair and a red forehead mark wears an orange shawl and gazes upward. A dark stone wall and a distant small light are behind them, consistent with a Karthikai Deepam lamp-lighting occasion.

In the foreground a man with long, swept-back dark curly hair, wearing an orange-saffron shawl and a heavy gold ornamental necklace with a large gold pendant, stands with palms pressed together at his face in anjali mudra with eyes closed. Beside and behind him stands a second man in an orange-saffron garment with a red tilak mark on his forehead. A third person's head is partially visible at the bottom right edge.
