A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a rust-brown dhoti and shawl with long dark hair flowing down his back, a white-and-red tilak on his forehead, a rudraksha mala, a gold ceremonial necklace and gold armlets, with a long garland of white jasmine and red roses around his neck. He leans forward and applies a marking or tilak to a bare-chested devotee in white dhoti who kneels before him, the devotee wearing a yellow marigold garland. Behind them stands a brass kalasha-style finial and a brass trident-shaped ornament, with a red-and-white cloth and flowering plants in the background. Another person in white sits at the right edge. The seated man matches the page's appearance cues of long swept hair, ornate gold jewellery and garlanded throne presence, so he is described as a person; the page indicates he is present at this event.

Night outdoor photo of a seated figure in saffron-orange cloth with a long swept-back hairstyle, wearing a multicoloured flower garland of white jasmine, red roses and yellow blooms, gold bangles and a gold necklace, and a white tilak on the forehead. He rests one hand on the head of a kneeling man in a white dhoti and orange shawl with a grey-streaked head, who bows with hands joined, a white paste visible on his forehead. The seated figure holds a small silver or metal object in his other hand. Behind them, other people in orange clothing sit in the dark, with dark foliage and a red pillar at right. Appearance-based cues on the seated figure (long swept hair, saffron cloth, floral garland, gold jewellery) fit the a person candidate, but the face is partly obscured by the angle, so identity is uncertain; he is shown performing a blessing or initiation on the devotee.

The seated figure has long swept-back hair, a crown-like ornament, and hoop earrings.
