Rudraksha mala beads hang across his shoulders and chest. Flanking the cart, carved figures with beards and crowns sit at the sides, and small woven baskets hold leaves and flowers. The background is glowing golden lights and warm decorations. No a person candidate is visible; the figure is a priest seen from behind.2016-07-03March 06 20162016-03-06 +1 copiesMay 13 20122012-05-13 +2 copiesA bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a maroon border and a multicoloured silk head-wrap bends over a brass multi-wick oil lamp, its flames burning brightly, while he holds a silver tray of pink and white flowers. Rudraksha-style beads hang at his neck and a bangle is on his wrist. Beside him stands a basket of yellow and white flowers, and a golden arched frame, flower garlands and small brass vessels surround a decorated floor spread with striped mats. Incense smoke rises in the background, where other figures are faintly visible. The setting suggests a night ritual of lamp offering.2016-12-12March 02 20182018-03-02A priest with a shaved head and bare torso, wearing a white dhoti with orange and teal borders and a red headcloth, holds a flaming camphor aarti lamp before an ornate shrine. Behind him, a gilded arch frames a deity murti dressed with yellow and orange garlands, with brass lamps and a small flame on either side. Strings of multicoloured lights decorate the walls. In the foreground, flower arrangements with marigolds and fruit sit on a tray. A few devotees in red and white stand at the left edge, watching the puja.2017-05-25May 25 20172017-05-25
