A bearded man with long swept-back hair, wearing a rust-red shawl over his shoulder, a long gold-toned necklace and a red-brown dhoti-style garment, walks forward across a striped colourful mat. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace, saffron-red clothing) walking in the centre. Behind him, long-haired attendants in orange and a red-draped throne-like seat stand near a cushioned peetha. Ceiling lights, a framed portrait and a large dark screen fill the background.2017-08-09Night photograph of two men walking side by side along a railed walkway in front of a tiered stepped backdrop lined with small grey stone shrines and deity figures. The man on the left wears a white dhoti with a yellow-orange border, a rudraksha band on his upper arm, white horizontal markings on his bare chest and arms, and a long dark braid, and carries a small object in his hand. The man on the right has very long dark hair and a full beard, wears a maroon-brown dhoti with a gold border, a saffron-orange shawl over his shoulder, a bangle on his wrist, and a small earring. An oil lamp flame glows at lower left and a floral offering is visible at the edge. This appears to be a procession, though the men's roles are not otherwise clear.2016-12-06A large indoor hall filled with seated devotees, many bare-chested men with white ash and tilak marks, and women in white saris. In the centre, a man with swept-back hair and a long ornate rudraksha mala wears a saffron-and-gold wrap and stands behind a metal barrier chain, with a standing man in white dhoti and shawl beside him. Two men in saffron-and-white garments with rudraksha malas stand at right near the barrier, and a man in white with glasses stands at far right. Gold pillars and red-lit walls frame the background.2016-01-02A procession of men and women walks along a covered temple corridor. In the centre, a bearded man wears a dark red-brown robe, a large turban-like top knot, and a heavy garland of white and red flowers over several gold necklaces. Beside him, a man in white dhoti with gold border and gold necklaces walks, and to the right a man with a swept-back top knot and rudraksha-style beads holds a cloth. Behind them, women in white and orange saris with gold jewellery and devotees in saffron and yellow clothing follow. The scene has a bright, open-sided hall with grey metal walls.2018-05-08September 10 20172017-09-10Indoor photo of a hall at an event, with a man in the centre wearing a maroon-brown dhoti and a matching draped upper cloth, a long gold-toned bead necklace, and a red bindi. He stands on a patterned mat in front of seated participants dressed in white with red shawls. A long-haired figure with a swept-back crown-like headpiece stands at left beside an ornate silver-and-red throne-style chair. Chairs, round tables with orange cloths, and wall artwork frame the room. Probable candidate for a person by appearance: long hair, ornate gold necklace, and maroon ceremonial clothing, but identity is uncertain and no caption names him.2017-08-09 +1 copiesDecember 11 20152015-12-11A standing man in a rust-red saffron dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, a gold pendant on a gold chain, a beaded mala of gold-coloured beads, gold armbands and a sacred thread-like band, stands centre-frame in a hall with pale pink walls. Seated devotees fill the foreground and middle, many bare-chested in white dhotis with gold borders, some with hands folded in prayer. Wooden doors and a gilded pillar appear behind. Appearance-based cues are consistent with a person, standing before the assembled devotees during a Navaratri Durga programme at Adhi Kailasa, Bidadi.2017-09-27 +1 copies
