A large indoor hall filled with seated devotees, many bare-chested men with white ash and tilak marks, and women in white saris. In the centre, a man with swept-back hair and a long ornate rudraksha mala wears a saffron-and-gold wrap and stands behind a metal barrier chain, with a standing man in white dhoti and shawl beside him. Two men in saffron-and-white garments with rudraksha malas stand at right near the barrier, and a man in white with glasses stands at far right. Gold pillars and red-lit walls frame the background.2016-01-02January 02 20162016-01-02January 02 20162016-01-02A crowd of devotees in white dhotis and saffron-red robes gathers in a hall. In the centre, a smiling person with a tall black turban, red-brown robes with gold borders, a heavy rudraksha mala and a gold waist sash stands among them, holding a handheld microphone. Nearby, others in white and red wear rudraksha malas, and a man in white stands with bare chest and sacred marks on his forehead. Blurred onlookers fill the foreground.2016-01-02A photograph inside a hall where a line of devotees stands on both sides of a polished floor. At centre, a smiling person with a tall dark swept-back hairstyle wears a rust-red garment with a gold-bordered wrap and a large beaded mala; a dark-red-robed woman with a rudraksha mala walks beside them holding a microphone. Behind them, men in white dhotis and shawls with gold borders stand with hands folded, one bare-chested man with a sacred thread. The central figure's dress and hairstyle are distinctive, giving a probable identification of a person in person as the procession-like walk passes through the line; the other figures are devotees and attendants. Blurred foreground heads fill the frame edges.2016-01-02A standing man in a rust-red saffron dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, a gold pendant on a gold chain, a beaded mala of gold-coloured beads, gold armbands and a sacred thread-like band, stands centre-frame in a hall with pale pink walls. Seated devotees fill the foreground and middle, many bare-chested in white dhotis with gold borders, some with hands folded in prayer. Wooden doors and a gilded pillar appear behind. Appearance-based cues are consistent with a person, standing before the assembled devotees during a Navaratri Durga programme at Adhi Kailasa, Bidadi.2017-09-27 +1 copiesA large hall packed with seated devotees in white and cream clothing, many with vibhuti or tilak marks on their foreheads and bodies. Two standing figures in the centre-left wear saffron-and-maroon sannyasi-style garments with rudraksha malas; the figure at left has a dark swept-back hairstyle and a dark turban-like headwear, while the figure to the right wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a white shawl draped over the shoulder. Behind them stand additional people in orange and white robes. Silver stanchions and chains separate the standing figures from the seated crowd. Gold-toned carved pillars and framed photographs decorate the walls behind.2016-01-02Photograph of a crowded indoor hall where two rows of white-clad devotees line both sides of an aisle. At centre, a figure with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a rudraksha mala and a long ceremonial gold necklace wears a maroon-red and gold-bordered garment and a gold waist belt, walking forward with a smile. Beside them, a woman in a deep red saree with gold border and a rudraksha mala holds a microphone. Bare-chested men in white dhotis with rudraksha malas stand along the aisle, and a green cloth bag is visible at right. Background shows a dark red curtain and stage area. The figure's appearance matches the page's a person reference only partially, so identity is uncertain.2016-01-02May 22 20162016-05-22December 11 20152015-12-11Photograph of a ceremonial walk down a polished hall lined on both sides by devotees in white dhotis and white garments, many with hands joined in greeting. Centre of the frame, a figure with swept-back dark hair wears a deep maroon-red robe with gold borders and a long ornate garland of beads, and holds a microphone; a second person in maroon with gold-edged sari and rudraksha mala walks beside, raising a hand in blessing. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti walks nearby. Metal barrier railings run along the left aisle. Probable Swamiji (probable) is identifiable by swept-back hair, rudraksha garland and saffron-red robe with ceremonial gold necklace, walking in procession as a blessing giver. Around 30 people are visible in the scene.2016-01-02December 11 20152015-12-11
