The figure wears an orange-saffron dhoti and a matching orange-and-maroon wrap over one shoulder, a red-and-orange headcloth, and a vertical tilak on the forehead, with a rudraksha-style bead mala across the chest. Long multicolour garlands of yellow, green, maroon and white with red flowers and sequin-like spangles drape down both sides. Two small golden lamp-bearer figures flank the base, each holding a dish of red flowers. The scene is a shrine display rather than a gathering, so no living people are present.November 07 20002000-11-07A black stone deity murti seated in a gilded arched shrine niche, wearing a golden crown, pink-and-gold silk dhoti draped over its lap, red and white flower garlands, and layered silver-and-pink-stone jewellery including a heart-shaped pendant.
