A worker in a white shirt and blue head cloth swings a pickaxe at the slope, while another in a plaid shirt and white head wrap stands by the wall. A bent worker in a checked shirt and purple lungi places rubble stones, and a man in an olive shirt and grey trousers stands on the granite steps. Plastic buckets, a green hose and a water bottle lie near the steps, and a rubble pile sits at the top of the slope. No deity, a person or ritual activity is visible.2008-10-26A photograph of an outdoor construction site with excavated trenches and dug earth. Two workers stand inside a deep trench, one in a grey shirt holding a red-handled tool, with another worker standing above and a third figure in the background. Piles of reddish-brown soil surround the trench, along with grey concrete blocks and coiled red and orange cord or rope. A taut yellow string line runs across the trench. Behind the site is a long, low building with a corrugated roof, white block walls, and ventilation grilles, with palm trees and a small tree in front of it. No a person candidate is visible.2007-03-29July 09 20092009-07-09A photograph of an outdoor construction site where a long trench has been dug through reddish-brown earth. A white PVC pipe lies along the bottom of the trench, and a taut yellow string line runs alongside it. A worker in a white head cloth and white clothes in the lower left carries a large orange basin on his head and walks beside the trench. A man in a checked shirt and dark cap stands near the center holding a tool. Behind them, two men in white shirts and dhotis stand near the far end of the trench, and a worker in a dark top and head wrap stands near a grey stone wall at the top. Dark-green foliage and a pale stone wall appear in the background.2007-03-29A photograph of an outdoor construction or excavation site showing a stone-lined rectangular channel or tank partly filled with still water. Large rough-cut granite blocks line the sides and base, while loose rubble, broken rocks and reddish-brown earth surround it. A black hose snakes across the lower foreground toward the water, and a small metal tap sticks out of the stonework on the right beside a pipe with red binding. No people, deities or ritual activity are visible; the scene looks like ongoing masonry or landscaping work at an ashram grounds.2014-11-21
