A photograph of a domestic ritual inside a small room with orange walls and a window. A person seated on a wheelchair at the right, dressed in orange and maroon with a red and yellow marigold garland and a shawl, holds a long ceremonial staff over a seated young man in white who has his hands together. Seated devotees in orange, red and purple saris and a man in a teal shirt kneel or sit on a red-and-white mat with a brass plate of flowers and offerings nearby. Standing women in saris with folded hands watch, and a photographer with a camera stands behind them.

A man with a bare shaved head and ornate silver-and-gold necklace sits on a chair in an orange garment, holding a silver trident, wearing a garland of red and yellow flowers; he is smiling and appears to be the central figure being honoured (a person by appearance: long swept-back hair, ornate clothing and garland cues are not fully distinct, so uncertain). Devotees in saffron and orange saris and dhotis kneel and stand around, one woman in a teal blouse bows with hands folded, and a man in a grey shirt kneels at a tray. Flower petals are scattered on the floor, and a brass plate with fruit and offerings sits nearby, with a red mat underneath.2014-07-10July 10 20142014-07-10 +1 copiesA photograph inside a home with orange-painted walls and a window with a shuttered grille. Near the seated man, a woman in a red and white outfit holds a brass lamp, and a man at left extends a hand with a lit flame. A woman in red sari with bangles holds hands in namaskar at upper left. Rose petals are scattered on the floor, which has a red and white patterned mat. A young boy in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala sits on the floor. Several onlookers stand or sit, some with palms pressed together.2014-07-10July 10 20142014-07-10July 10 20142014-07-10July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 10 20142014-07-10June 26 20142014-06-26
