A seated man in orange robes and an orange turban sits in a golden throne decorated with a dense arch of marigolds, red roses, white flowers and purple blooms. He sits with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes closed, wearing a long red-and-purple flower garland and a heavy gold necklace with rudraksha-style beads. Brass oil lamps with peacock finials stand on either side of the throne, and hanging brass lamps are visible above. Swamiji (probable) is seated in the centre, identified by the throne, ornate gold necklace, orange robes and turban; a single seated figure is present. The setting is a bright satsang hall with coloured panels at the sides.
