Night photograph of a procession on open ground beside a small fire. A large effigy-like figure with a club or staff sits on a purple-draped platform, lit from below, with smoke hanging in the dark. A line of people in saris and dhotis walks past: women in yellow, orange, red, green and blue saris, and men in white and orange dhotis. A tall wooden pole stands near the fire. The scene is dark and smoky with a bright floodlight at the left edge.

A large effigy figure tied to upright wooden poles is engulfed in tall orange flames, with smoke rising to the left. Further back, a few people in red and orange robes stand near an ornate golden umbrella or canopy and a dark ceremonial structure.
