A tall, slender copper dhwajastambha, the ceremonial flagstaff, rises against a plain white sky beside a metal-framed roof. The pole is ringed with ribbed copper bands and topped with a small decorated copper canopy wrapped in orange and yellow flowers. Its base is wrapped in green grass, leaves and a rope, and a yellow marigold garland hangs around a small gilded seated figure set in a niche on the plinth. Palm trees appear at the bottom edge. No people are visible.
