Outdoor groundbreaking ceremony on grass beside bushes and trees under bright sky. A man in a long white robe and white dhoti bends forward, lifting a long-handled spade-like tool to dig into fresh reddish soil; a shovel lies in the dirt. Around him stand about six men watching: an older man in a checked blue lungi and bare feet, a man in white shirt and white dhoti with a red border, a man in a light blue shirt and grey trousers with a pink towel over his shoulder, and a man in a blue checked shirt. Yellow bricks lined along the bottom edge are decorated with pink and yellow flowers and petals.

A man in an orange-saffron shawl and orange turban, with a white flower garland, stands at left and watches. A white-clad man in a white shawl bends to hold a vertical wooden stake while another white-shirted man digs with a spade beside him. A tall figure in flowing orange-saffron robes with gold-bordered edges, long swept-back dark hair and a wooden rudraksha mala around the neck stands at right, watching; the figure is a probable Swamiji candidate by these cues. Around them, about ten to fifteen men in white shirts, dhotis and rudraksha or gold neck garlands gather, and a photographer with a camera stands at left.2008-08-01August 01 20082008-08-01October 24 20062006-10-24A photograph of an outdoor groundbreaking or foundation ceremony on a dusty construction site with gravel, a blue truck and palm trees behind.
