In the foreground a shaved-headed priest seen from behind wears white dhoti and shawl with gold borders, and an orange-red cloth at his waist, with a metal armlet on his upper arm. He stands on marble steps reaching toward a golden kalasha-style lamp stand and a small brass vessel held by a second person at the lower right, who wears a white shirt. Beyond, a gold-framed shrine niche with garlands and pink flowers holds a deity murti, with silver lamps and brass oil lamps set before it and a lit orange light border around the arch.
