A large group of schoolboys sits cross-legged on bare dirt under shade trees, in an outdoor school or community setting. Most wear khaki or olive uniform shirts and trousers, while some wear white shirts, blue uniform shirts, yellow and red checked shirts. Several hold notebooks or books on their laps. Behind them a blue banner with white and yellow printed text is mounted on a pole, beside a yellow sign and a metal fence. Dappled sunlight falls across the ground and the boys' faces. No speaker or dais is clearly visible in this frame, and no individual can be confidently identified as a person.
