Outdoor construction site on bare red earth under a large leafy tree and a pink umbrella held over a central figure. A tall figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and stands with a hand on the hip beside a second person in orange robes, while an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at left and a man in a white shirt and grey trousers stands at right. Behind them, workers in orange and white clothing move near a metal frame structure and a blue barrel, and an orange tractor sits at far right. A white string line marks the ground, and sacks and building materials lie scattered across the site.

April 06 20082008-04-06A photograph of a construction site on red earth beside a scrubby green tree line under a bright sky with clouds. A person in a saffron wrap with long dark hair stands at center while a person holding a pink-orange umbrella stands behind them. To the right, a shaved-headed person in a saffron shawl over white clothes gestures toward the ground while two older men in white shirts look on. Thin wooden stakes with white string mark the planned layout on the ground. The central figure in a saffron wrap with long swept-back dark hair and a bangle on the wrist could be a person, appearing in person as the person leading the survey of the land, with the umbrella held over them.2008-04-06Outdoor photo on a cleared red-earth plot with stringlines marking a layout, surrounded by green scrub and a hill. A man in a pink checked shirt and grey trousers stands at left beside a man in a white shirt and light trousers. Three men in saffron-orange robes stand at right; one holds a salmon-pink umbrella raised over the group, another has his hair tied in a topknot and wears beaded necklaces, and a bearded man in orange at far right has long hair and a ceremonial necklace. A man at far right wears a yellow dhoti with a patterned sash. The orange-robed figures appear to be sannyasis or devotees overseeing the land work, and the shaded group observes the site.2008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06A photograph of a bare red-earth construction site with string lines marking out the ground. Several men walk across it in white dhotis and white shirts, and one man in an orange-saffron shawl walks in the foreground with a bare upper body and long dark hair, wearing an orange dhoti. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at the right edge. Behind them is a partly built bamboo-framed roof structure among green trees under a partly cloudy sky. The orange-clad figure has distinctive long hair and saffron clothing, a probable appearance-based candidate for a person, shown on the ground in a construction context; this is uncertain, so the field is unsure.2008-04-06Outdoor photo on a reddish-brown cleared earth site with a few trees behind a fence. A figure with long, loose dark hair and bare arms wears an orange-saffron garment draped over the body and holds a salmon-pink umbrella overhead against the sun. Facing them, an older man with white hair wears a white shirt and white dhoti and shakes hands with a palm-to-palm greeting. Two more men in white shirts and dhotis stand behind, one with a grey moustache and a dark beaded necklace, and a shaven-headed man in orange and white appears at the right edge. Survey-style white lines mark the ground. a person candidate appearance: long dark swept-back hair and saffron clothing, consistent with the page, but the face and build are not clearly determinable, so the identity is uncertain.2008-04-06A photograph of a cleared, reddish-brown earth site with tractor furrows, surrounded by green trees. Between them stands an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti holding a small notebook. A tractor with a canopy works at the right edge, and taut white string lines mark the layout of the plot. The left monastic figure's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm an identity.2008-04-06April 06 20082008-04-06Outdoor photo on a red-earth construction site at the foot of a green, scrubby hill.
