Bright yellow and pink flowers surround the altar, with a smaller decorated murti in front. A priest with bare upper body and white sacred marks on his shoulders, wearing a face mask, offers a puja with a small object held near the deity. Scene suggests Ashtotarra Namavali puja.2020-10-22KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 11/14/20202020-11-14A shirtless priest in a white dhoti stands with his back to the camera, raising his arm toward a black stone deity murti seated in a gilded arched shrine. The murti wears a red and gold silk sari, a tall jeweled crown, a yellow flower garland and gold ornaments, with four arms holding pink flowers. In front on a black-tiled altar stands a brass tray of apples, bananas, grapes, a pineapple and other fruit, with brass and steel vessels with lids beside it. The priest appears to be performing a puja or naivedyam offering. The gold-painted wall and ornate carved frame complete the shrine scene.2024-10-27KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 2/6/20222022-02-06
