A photograph of a temple ritual in progress. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a sacred thread and a rudraksha-style mala, wearing a face mask, stands at left with his back to the camera, holding a lit oil lamp toward a large black stone deity murti. The murti is a multi-armed goddess seated in a green draped sari with a blue border, wearing a tall crown and holding a bow and other implements. It sits in a gold-framed arched shrine with gold and multicoloured pillars and a tan cloth backdrop.
