A nighttime outdoor gathering of many people, many in white and cream clothing and several with pink, purple and multicoloured powder on their clothes and heads. Several people hold orange flags on tall poles, and a white van with a roof-mounted speaker sits in the centre of the crowd. Children and adults crowd together on a dusty open ground lit by a distant street lamp, with a tall striped pole rising at left. A bald man in white with pink-stained head stands at the lower right foreground, and a woman in a blue sari appears at right. The scene reads as a festival procession or outdoor celebration.
