Several small brass or metal figures sit among the red petals. At the upper right, a person in orange clothing sits at the edge, and brass vessels with turmeric, kumkum and other powders sit on a tray beside banana leaves. A large brass oil lamp with a figure of a deity on its top stands at the centre of a circular design of green leaves, yellow and orange marigold petals, red rose petals and white flower garlands, with yellow flower chains and large leaves around the outer edge. Behind it a white cloth covers a long table with brass vessels, and a few people in white are partly visible at the back. No one is seated in front of the arrangement. The scene suggests a puja setup, with the lamp and the floral mandala as the main subjects.2008-10-19
