Photograph of a padapuja ritual on a patterned dark mat with teal floral motif. A bare foot in an orange-saffron dhoti with yellow border rests on a brass footprint-shaped plate. Marigold petals are scattered across the mat. A silver oil lamp with a flame is held by a hand at lower right, and white-clad and orange-clad devotees sit at the edges. The figure's face is not visible, so no identification is made.

Close-up photo of a ritual in progress: bare feet of a person wearing a saffron-orange dhoti or robe with a yellow-orange border stand on a blue-and-black floral cloth scattered with orange marigold petals. A tall silver incense or camphor burner stands beside them, emitting smoke, while a hand holding a silver vessel or ladle pours or offers near its base. Only the lower body and hands of the people are visible, so no faces appear. Scattered petals and smoke suggest a puja or aarti offering.2013-02-13August 24 20122012-08-24August 15 20092009-08-15February 13 20132013-02-13August 24 20062006-08-24March 02 20132013-03-02A photograph of a bare foot resting on a silver plate of flower petals during a padapuja ritual.
