A hand on the right holds a silver oil lamp with a lit flame, its handle curled in ornate scrollwork. Gold-toned carved decoration and a maroon cloth frame the setting. Only the foot and hand are visible; no full face is shown.2011-10-09August 15 20092009-08-15November 29 20092009-11-29A photograph taken from behind a shaven-headed man in a white shirt, in the foreground, holding a silver oil lamp with a flame toward a seated figure in saffron-orange robes. The seated figure's orange garments fill the right side, and rich red fabric and gold-toned surfaces appear behind. Lit oil lamps are visible in the scene.2010-08-21Close view from behind of a shaved-headed devotee in white holding a silver aarti lamp with a lit flame toward a seated figure in orange robes. The seated figure's hands are folded in the lap, and a gold ornate element and red cushion or cloth sit in the background. A flame flickers in the foreground lamp and a small flame glows at the lower left. The scene suggests an aarti being offered.2010-08-21
