A seated congregation of many devotees sits on woven mats in a whitewashed hall facing two men standing on a raised platform at right. Most seated devotees wear white dhotis and white shirts or saris; several women wear saris in pink, cream, mustard and orange, and some have long braids. The standing man at left holds a microphone and an open book, and the man beside him presses his palms together. Behind them hang a green curtain, a wall-mounted framed picture, and a row of ceremonial staffs with tassels. A large glass display cabinet with photographs stands at left, and a banner reads in English and Tamil about items used by Paramahamsa in his young age.
