A photograph of a single figure walking barefoot across a wet paved courtyard under a corrugated roof. The person wears an orange-saffron dhoti-style garment, a matching orange head wrap, and multiple rudraksha malas across the chest, and is bare-chested. They hold a large red and cream decorated umbrella in one hand and a white drum-like object in the other. Behind are blue padded mats, red concrete pillars, a red brick wall, potted plants and a tree. The surroundings are rain-dampened. The figure is a sannyasi-style devotee; appearance cues do not establish identity, so no identification is made.

A photograph of an outdoor courtyard after rain, with wet grey paving stones and red brick walls. A young sannyasi in orange-saffron robes and an orange head wrap walks barefoot across the courtyard, holding a small round white object in one hand. Blue mats and a corrugated roof edge the left side, and potted plants with red-painted bases line the right. The person is seen from behind and partly in profile, with no distinctive a person cues such as ornate ornaments or a crown visible, so identity is uncertain.2017-09-02A procession under a covered tent walks along a red carpet. In the centre-left, a man in an orange robe and orange-red turban, with a garland of white and pink flowers around his neck, smiles and raises a hand in greeting; an attendant in orange walks beside him. Several figures in orange and saffron robes carry or walk alongside, including a woman in orange holding a brass tray. Behind them, a drummer in orange beats a large drum, and bare-chested young men in white dhotis wearing rudraksha malas follow. Colourful umbrellas in red, blue and patterned gold shade the group, and banners and orange-and-white flags hang from the tent frame, with green trees behind. The orange-robed man wearing a turban and garland is an appearance-based candidate, but the cues are not sufficiently distinctive for confirmation.2017-01-01A photograph taken from under a open-sided canopy with a pink-white cloth roof and wooden posts, looking out at a wet courtyard floor with puddles and a red-washed compound wall topped by white chain-link fencing. A single figure in a flowing orange-saffron robe stands partly hidden behind a wooden post near the right-center, walking across the wet ground. Stacked red bricks, scattered debris and green shrubs and trees lie beyond the wall, with a small red step at left.2017-09-02July 25 20172017-07-25Four young boys in saffron-orange dhoti-style wraps and matching orange turbans stand on wet paving in rain beside red pillars and a red brick wall. They play ceremonial instruments: the foreground boy beats a silver-rimmed drum, the second plays a long brass horn, the boy on the right shakes a small hand cymbal, and the boy at left raises a stick. Each wears rudraksha beaded malas, and the bare-chested boys are barefoot. A blue tank and palm trees appear behind.2017-09-02September 02 20172017-09-02A procession moves along a paved path between bamboo and a red-walled building under a white canopy. Women in orange saris with rudraksha malas play round frame drums, one striking with a pink stick. Behind them, a bearded man in a long brown robe and a flower garland walks beneath a colourful striped umbrella, while several men in orange dhotis carry a decorated ritual item. A young man in the foreground, bare-chested with rudraksha beads and white ash markings, drums as well. Several other people in orange and white ash-marked foreheads follow.2017-01-11A photograph of an open temple courtyard with a red-and-white striped wall and a concrete floor. A barefoot man in an orange-saffron wrap and a red undergarment walks across the courtyard toward the right. Red cloth drapes hang on the left, with a red pillar and hanging yellow-and-white paper garlands above, and green trees and shrubs behind the wall.2009-07-08April 21 20152015-04-21January 11 20172017-01-11A procession on a street walks past a red building. At center, a man in a rust-red sleeveless garment and a dhoti-style wrap, with long dark hair falling loose, a rudraksha mala across his chest, a gold necklace and white forehead markings, walks with eyes lowered. Behind him, a group of young men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and white forehead tilaks carry a striped fringed canopy on a tall golden pole. Two large metal drums are in the foreground, and a boy in orange holds a white cloth. Sign-free scene with no readable text.2018-01-01January 13 20172017-01-13
